Shambhala Hair Design is a small boutique hair salon that offers clients outstanding hair styling and colours using only natural, cruelty free and organic products.
Teo started Shambhala in 2004 on High Street when her daughter began her journey at Rudolph Steiner. Many afternoons were spent relaxing in the garden of Willows Cafe and that was where the dream first began of it one day being her new salon. Lucky for her, 18 years later, she has lovingly renovated the old Willows Cafe building into a calm and peaceful environment for clients to feel welcome and relaxed.

Teo started her career in the late 80's. She was a creative team member at Serville's in Auckland presenting workshops and shows around New Zealand. Teo started Shambhala 17 years ago in Christchurch. With a passion for cutting and colouring she also brings a holistic approach to her craft.
Teo is now only taking new clients if they have been recommended by an existing client, her books are nearly full. Please send an inquiry first.

Cheri has over 30 years experience in the industry . She was a skilled colourist at GM Hair design, before moving to Shambhala . Cheri offers Wednesday and Friday and Saturday appointments. Her ladies haircut price is $95.00
